Mary Ploughman Jones

Mary’s love affair with wool and the "joys of hooking" began in 1989, which have a lead her on a wonderful journey of self expression & ”painting with wool”. Mary teaches & demonstrates primitive style rug hooking and continues to learn from other teachers. Her rugs "reside" worldwide with sales primarily from gallery shows, exhibits and commissions. Mary continues to "grow" her original, often whimsical designs, inspired by her Maritime surroundings. Favorite hooking expression... she loves to tell the viewers of her works..."Please touch"!
